In the past, restorations (which can include crowns, veneers, inlays and fillings) have been unpredictable and, on occasion, downright unsightly. But the Cerec© ceramic restorations technology put an end to this unpredictability. Confidental was one of the first dental practices in the United Kingdom to invest in this technology – phew, did it cost a lot! – and has been successfully using Cerec© for over four years, completing over 2,000 restorations.
One of the most advanced dental techniques in the world, Cerec© takes a high definition three-dimensional picture of the area requiring restoration. The latest CAM (computer aided manufacturing) technology then creates a tooth, filling or other restoration that gives a perfect fit.
