Cerec©
http://www.cereconline.com/
This website provides additional detailed information about the Cerec© system. For examples of “before and after”, click on the patient’s section, although this is not for the squeamish!

WAND
http://www.milestonescientific.com/index.html
This website describes the WAND anaesthetic delivery system. It is quite technical sales oriented, but gives a flavour of what WAND is, what it looks like and how it works.

The British Dental Association
http://www.bda.org/
Very content-rich site hosted by the “gurus” of dentistry in the UK. Although it looks superficially aimed at dental professionals, there is a lot of information for the public, but it can take a while to find.

BDA Smile
http://www.bdasmile.org/
A very good British Dental Association website, specifically aimed at non-dental health professionals. A good source of basic information about dental anatomy, dental hygiene and the dental profession in general.

British Dental Health Foundation
http://www.dentalhealth.org.uk/
This website has a section devoted to non-dental health professionals, which is very content rich and has lots of useful information about dental health and hygiene, plus an extensive links section.

Association of Dental Implantology
http://www.adi.org.uk/
This contains plenty of information about dental implants, aimed at non-dental professionals.

British Society of Dental Health and Therapy
http://www.bsdht.org.uk
Mainly aimed at dental professionals, there is a good section of frequently asked questions (FAQs) under the membership tab. Be aware that this website is aimed at professionals, which is reflected in the jargon and nature of the questions (it can get dull).

Department of Health
http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/index.htm
Very content rich but difficult to navigate. Issues relating to government policy on dental health can be found, with some information about dental healthcare. Only for the brave and sleep deprived.
