We have put together a list of answers to the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) you ask us, preferably after we have taken our hands out of your mouth. They should provide you with a starting point in giving you the information you may be seeking.

However, don’t forget the answers in this section are no substitute for getting personal advice from our dentists.

If you don’t find what you’re looking for, there is an enquiry form at the end. We will do our best answer your questions as soon as possible and promise not to look up the answers to the technical ones ourselves on the internet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you offer free assessments for new patients?

A: Yes. We offer a complimentary ten-minute assessment of new patients, the result of which will be a recommendation of how we think your treatment should proceed. This is not a free check-up or consultation.

Q: Why Confidental?

A: Because we’re truly different, offering you a customised, personal and effective approach to your oral health. Perhaps the best proof of this is that 80% of people who visit us for our 10-minute assessment choose to become patients. And stay patients.

Q: Do you take NHS patients?

A: We do not take NHS patients. We will provide you with a highly personal service supported by the very latest technology. We do not feel that we would be able to provide this type of service if we treated you as an NHS patient.

Q: What is the cost of treatment?

A: Although we do provide price guidelines , to us you are unique and the price of your treatment will depend on the results of an initial assessment or check-up. We will always provide an estimate of cost before treatment begins.

Bear in mind that our emphasis is on prevention, and thus on reducing your costs. In fact, we aim to reduce check-ups to once a year, rather than the traditional twice recommended by many dental practices, because of our emphasis on education and prevention.

Q: Do you provide treatment in the early mornings, late evenings or weekends?

A: Normally we do not, and click here to find out our regular opening hours. However you can discuss out of hours treatment with your member of our treatment team, and if a suitable time can be arranged we will provide an estimate of the cost. This estimate will supersede any previous estimates we may have given for treatment in normal working hours.

Q: Do you provide emergency treatment?

A: Emergencies are seen on the same day where possible during regular opening hours. For out of hours emergencies, please use the telephone numbers on our contact page for details about emergency treatment.

Q: Is your clinic fully accessible if I have a disability?

A: Yes. Level access is through our front entrance and we have specific facilities and team members to treat you if you have a disability.

Q: Do you have dedicated parking spaces for customers?

A: Yes, they are at the rear of our clinic.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: We accept all methods of payment and it is possible to arrange a finance facility either through your own insurance or, subject to credit status, through D-PAS. Click here for more details.

Q: Do you provide general dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry?

A: Yes, very much so. We have special interests and skills in some areas of cosmetic dentistry, but our focus is on education and prevention, which is a large element of general dentistry.

Q: Do you treat children?

A: Yes. And we have ten days a year during school holidays when we focus especially on our younger customers. For more information visit our Children’s Page.

Q: I’ve read about Cerac©, do you offer this and what is it?

A: Yes, we are one of the UK pioneers in this ceramic restoration technology. Cerac© is a highly advanced method of creating restorations for crowns and other dental features. More information can be found in our Treatments section.

Q: How do I contact you?

A: Click here , where you will find our full contact details.
