We make sure you are suitable for All on 4, and may take a digital x-ray to see the levels of bone present in your jaw. We explain the treatment process with you and ensure you are happy to continue.
We use innovative digital technology to create your treatment plan and work out the optimum positions for your implants. If you have a single missing tooth, we use a single implant as a direct replacement. For multiple missing teeth, we may not need to use an implant per tooth, but rather strategically placed implants with a bridge of replacement teeth.
We make sure you are feeling relaxed and use local anaesthetic to numb the area, so you won’t feel any pain. We will then place four implants strategically into the jawbone. They are typically angled towards the back of the mouth, and two in the front. These implants maximise the stability and often eliminate the need for bone grafting.
After your implant surgery, a healing time of around 3-6 months is needed to ensure the implant is properly integrated with your bone, a process known as osseointegration. We place a temporary set of teeth to wear while the implants fuse with the bone.
Once the healing is complete, we will create a final customised full arch of teeth. This is securely attached to the implants and restores your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. We will give you some aftercare advice and leave you to enjoy your new smile!
