Cryotherapy (CryoPen Lesion Removal)

Safe, effective removal of skin lesions and imperfections

At Confidental, we use advanced CryoPen technology to precisely remove benign skin lesions, including warts, skin tags, and age spots. This quick, minimally invasive treatment provides excellent cosmetic results with little to no downtime.

What is cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy (or CryoPen treatment) uses a fine jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy unwanted skin tissue at a cellular level. The pen allows millimetre precision, targeting only the lesion without affecting surrounding skin.

During treatment, the area briefly freezes and turns white before thawing, leading to a natural healing process that reveals clearer, healthier skin within 10–14 days.

What to expect during your appointment

Your practitioner will begin with a consultation to assess your skin and confirm suitability for treatment. During the procedure, the CryoPen releases a fine jet of nitrous oxide onto the lesion for several seconds, freezing the targeted tissue.

You may feel a mild stinging or prickling sensation, similar to a nettle sting, but this usually passes quickly. The area may redden or form a small blister or scab, which will heal naturally within 1–3 weeks.

Aftercare & recovery

  • Keep the treated area clean and dry.
  • Avoid picking or scratching the scab.
  • Protect the area from direct sunlight until fully healed.
  • Normal washing and daily activities can continue as usual.
